It is the start of 2019-2010 school year so we want to offer our youngest Bennett community members well wishes towards a great year.  As we all know, our kids are some of the brightest in the county!

We take pride in the fact that our city has a school right here in town. Our local school is one of the assets that Bennett has that makes our community a good choice for family living.  As we celebrate this new beginning, lets be extra aware of the our children walking to and from school.  As important as having a school is in Bennett, the safety of our young residents are even more so.

Good luck students and thank you teachers.  Have a great year.

We are all busy enough just living life and rather spend time on what we enjoy rather then paying bills.  Online bill pay allows us to use that time to do the things we rather do.  So maybe instead of waiting time looking for that checkbook it is time to try  the City's Online Bill Pay.  It is safe, simple and secure way to quickly get one of your many chores done.  Just  on our home  page and click on the symbol on City of Bennett home page:

It will take to you to the Pay.Gov portal secure website, follow it simple directions and your done.  The  you can get back to the things you would rather be doing

Another reminder to save the date so we have a big Bennett turnout this upcoming September 22.  We will be hosting an Antique Tractor Pull in the streets of downtown. A touch of nostalgia mixed with some noise and entertainment. In short, good old fashion fun.  Keep an eye on this site as we get closer to the date for more information.

Please take note the City office will be closed Monday August 13th for a staff vacation day.  Any city business can be scheduled later in the week or the following one if that works better .  We hope everyone is having a great summer.
